In this course, participants will learn how to create their own life-like virtual avatar within the 3D program Daz Studio. This course is suitable for both newcomers and experienced users, and requires no 3D experience. Participants will be guided through the process of downloading Daz Studio, customizing their workspace, morphing their avatar, applying and editing a skin texture, adding hair, posing their avatar, setting up the main camera, changing the eyes, setting up an HDRI, adding spotlights, setting up a colored background, and rendering settings. Additionally, a bonus lesson will be provided on how to edit the portrait in Photoshop to look more life-like. Resources such as Marketplace Links and .psd files will be provided.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge to create their own virtual avatar in Daz Studio. They will be able to customize their avatar's features, pose it, and render it with a realistic background. Participants will also be able to use Photoshop to edit their avatar's portrait to make it look more life-like. Participants can apply this knowledge to create avatars for video games, movies, and other 3D projects.
