This project-based course, co-written by an online university president and a Director of the Office of Innovative Teaching and Technology, will help students develop a complete online or blended course. Students will learn how to conduct Needs Analysis, Research and Planning, and use a Course Design Blueprint Template as the major project. They will also get a Course Introduction Template, Course Syllabus Template and Checklist, and a Course Design Rubric to self-evaluate their course. By the end, they will have created 6 modules of their course within the Canvas Learning Management System. Faith-based topics are also included, but students can skip them if they wish.
