USC faculty, instructors, and graduate students are invited to attend this two-hour session on Accent Reduction: An Introduction. The session will provide an overview of the elements of pronunciation, including difficult sounds, stress, rhythm, and intonation. Participants will learn specific practice techniques for addressing the most common pronunciation problems, as well as a list of resources available for further self-study. This session is designed to help non-native speakers of English communicate more effectively with their students and colleagues.
