This course, Android Basics: User Input, is designed for students who are new to programming and want to learn how to build Android apps. No prior programming experience is necessary. Through this course, students will learn the basics of Android and Java programming, and take the first step on their journey to becoming an Android developer.

Students will learn how to make their app interactive using buttons and changing text. They will practice these skills by making a basketball scores app, and build a full coffee-ordering app.

By the end of this course, students will have a better understanding of the Android and Java programming languages, and will have the skills to create their own Android apps. This course is the second in a series of six courses that make up the Android Basics Nanodegree.

[Applications]
After completing this course, students can apply their knowledge of Android and Java programming to build more complex apps. They can also continue their journey to becoming an Android developer by taking the other courses in the Android Basics Nanodegree program. These courses will teach students how to create user interfaces, build multi-screen apps, use networking, and store data.

1. Android Developer: Android developers create applications for the Android operating system. They use Java and other programming languages to develop, test, and debug mobile applications. Android developers must have a strong understanding of the Android SDK, as well as the latest trends in mobile development. As the Android platform continues to evolve, Android developers must stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends.

2. Mobile Application Designer: Mobile application designers are responsible for creating the user interface and user experience of mobile applications. They must have a strong understanding of user interface design principles, as well as the latest trends in mobile design. Mobile application designers must also be able to create user-friendly interfaces that are optimized for mobile devices.

3. Mobile Application Tester: Mobile application testers are responsible for testing mobile applications for bugs and usability issues. They must have a strong understanding of the Android platform, as well as the latest trends in mobile testing. Mobile application testers must also be able to identify and report any issues they find in the application.

4. Mobile Application Developer: Mobile application developers are responsible for developing mobile applications for the Android platform. They must have a strong understanding of the Android SDK, as well as the latest trends in mobile development. Mobile application developers must also be able to create applications that are optimized for mobile devices.
