This course, Save Time in Face Animation with Cartoon Animator 4 Pipeline, is designed to help students learn how to create smooth and organic facial animation that makes their characters look alive (not robotic or fake) in less time. Students will learn how to rig a character for fast animation in Cartoon Animator 4, as well as how to do smooth and organic facial expressions that make their characters look alive (instead of fake and robotic). The instructor will also show students how to be able to do those animations really fast, using Cartoon Animator 4 Pipeline. Students will learn how to set up their characters to be animated by using powerful controllers inside Cartoon Animator 4, as well as how to control the acting of their character with Live Motion Capture. By the end of the course, students will have the skills and knowledge to create very smooth animations with good timing.
[Applications]
Once the course is completed, the learner will be able to apply the knowledge gained to create smooth and organic facial animations that make their characters look alive. They will be able to rig their characters for fast animation in Cartoon Animator 4, and use powerful controllers and Live Motion Capture to control the acting of their characters. This will enable them to create animations with good timing and save time in the process.
[Career Paths]
1. Character Animator: Character animators create characters and animate them for films, television shows, video games, and other media. They use a variety of techniques, such as motion capture, keyframing, and rigging, to bring characters to life. The development of new technologies, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, has opened up new opportunities for character animators to explore.
2. 3D Modeler: 3D modelers create 3D models for use in films, television shows, video games, and other media. They use a variety of software programs to create 3D models, textures, and animations. 3D modelers must have a strong understanding of anatomy, physics, and other aspects of 3D modeling. As technology advances, 3D modelers are increasingly in demand to create realistic 3D models for use in virtual and augmented reality applications.
3. Motion Graphics Artist: Motion graphics artists create motion graphics for films, television shows, video games, and other media. They use a variety of software programs to create 2D and 3D animations, visual effects, and motion graphics. Motion graphics artists must have a strong understanding of design principles, animation principles, and storytelling. As technology advances, motion graphics artists are increasingly in demand to create realistic animations for use in virtual and augmented reality applications.
4. Visual Effects Artist: Visual effects artists create visual effects for films, television shows, video games, and other media. They use a variety of software programs to create 2D and 3D animations, visual effects, and motion graphics. Visual effects artists must have a strong understanding of design principles, animation principles, and storytelling. As technology advances, visual effects artists are increasingly in demand to create realistic visual effects for use in virtual and augmented reality applications.
