This Ability Enhancement Complimentary Course (AECC-3) in B.A Urdu (Hons) provides an overview of the art and history of Urdu prose forms. The course covers the basic features of prose genres such as Dastaam, Afsana, Novel, Mazmoon, Safarnama, Swaneh, Khudnawisht, Inshyiah, Reportage and Maktoob Nigari. It also provides an in-depth knowledge of the form, art and stages of development of these genres. The course aims to supplement and enhance the understanding of students about different dimensions of Urdu Prose and its art.
