What is Art Therapy? Art therapy combines creative therapeutic processes and psychotherapy to enhance self-exploration, healing, and understanding. Express thoughts and feelings that might otherwise be difficult to express through language alone by using imagery, colour, and shape with various types of art media. What is Art Therapy (dot) Network all about? Our virtual art therapy clinic is available from the comfort of your own home or in a secure, safe space. Our art therapy graduate students under clinical supervision use webcams and computers to facilitate the healing process. How does it work? All art therapy sessions are facilitated online and are available from 3 different payment options starting from $10 CAD. Using a camera on your computer, tablet, or phone, our art therapy graduate students will guide you through your own individual healing process. Who we help? As we are practicing physical distancing due to COVID-19, our virtual art therapy clinic is available online. Access help from the comfort, privacy, and safety of your own home. Our virtual art therapy sessions are suitable for individuals: ● looking to improve self-esteem ● wanting to make career or life choices ● dealing with mild depression or anxiety **No previous art experience is required.
