The Artificial Intelligence (AI) course provides an overview of the basic techniques for building intelligent computer systems and an understanding of how AI is applied to real world problems. Students will gain an understanding of the history of AI, intelligent agents, state-space problem representations, uninformed and heuristic search, game playing, logical agents, and constraint satisfaction problems. Through hands-on experience, students will build a basic search agent and explore adversarial search through the creation of a game. An introduction to machine learning will include work on linear regression.
[Applications]
After this course, students can apply their knowledge of AI to a variety of real world problems. They can use the techniques they have learned to create intelligent agents, develop game playing algorithms, and build machine learning models. Additionally, they can use their understanding of AI to develop solutions to complex problems such as self-driving cars, face recognition, web search, industrial robots, missile guidance, and tumor detection.
[Career Path]
Job Position Path: AI Engineer
AI Engineers are responsible for developing and deploying AI-based solutions to solve real-world problems. They are expected to have a deep understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning, and deep learning, as well as the ability to develop and deploy AI-based solutions. AI Engineers must also be able to work with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the AI-based solutions are properly implemented and deployed. AI Engineers must also be able to troubleshoot and debug AI-based solutions.
Development Trend: AI Engineers are in high demand as the use of AI-based solutions continues to grow. Companies are increasingly looking for AI Engineers who can develop and deploy AI-based solutions that can help them improve their operations and increase their profits. As AI technology continues to evolve, AI Engineers will need to stay up to date with the latest developments in order to remain competitive. Additionally, AI Engineers will need to be able to work with other stakeholders to ensure that the AI-based solutions are properly implemented and deployed.
[Education Path]
The educational path recommended for learners is to pursue a degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI). This degree typically includes courses in computer science, mathematics, and engineering, as well as courses in AI-specific topics such as machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and computer vision. Students will also gain experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++. The development trend of AI is rapidly advancing, and the demand for AI professionals is increasing. As such, the degree in AI is becoming increasingly popular and is expected to continue to grow in the future.
