This course provides an overview of the various AWS Database services available on Amazon Cloud. Students will learn about the different kinds of cloud databases available on AWS, such as Relational databases, NoSQL, document based, Graph databases, and data warehouses. The course will cover Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service), Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Neptune, and Amazon Elasticache. Students will gain an understanding of how to set up, operate, and scale a relational database in the cloud, create NoSQL document based databases, store massive data for archival use, build and run applications with highly connected datasets, and deploy, operate, and scale an in-memory cache in the cloud.
