Business Analysis 101 is an introductory course that provides an overview of the competencies required of a Business Analyst. The course covers topics such as the typical business analysis path, the relationship between needs and current processes, document analysis, elicitation, solutions, business cases and decisions, quality management, estimation, data and forecasting, and game theory. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of stakeholder management, the tools and techniques used to create, evaluate, modify and analyze processes, and the relationship between solutions and risks. The course will also cover the cost of quality, the Deming Cycle, the 7 Basic Quality Tools, and the theory of constraints.
