Mandarin Chinese Essentials is a comprehensive virtual learning experience designed to help learners gain a solid foundation in the Chinese language. This course is suitable for those with no prior knowledge of Chinese, as it starts from the basics. Through videos, learners will be introduced to the rules of the language and practice constructing sentences. In the verified track, learners will also have the opportunity to participate in a webinar led by Dr. Estella Y. Chen, which will cover popular topics related to Chinese business culture and trends. Additionally, three pronunciation lessons will be provided to help learners communicate more effectively in a business environment. This course was developed with the assistance of Dr. Haohsiang Liao, Director of the Chinese Language Program at MIT.
