Mandarin Chinese Level 1 is an introductory course designed to help learners gain the basic language skills needed to communicate effectively in Mandarin speaking countries. The course will cover topics such as eating, living, and getting around, as well as introducing learners to Chinese business culture and trends. In the verified track, learners will have access to a webinar led by Dr. Estella Y. Chen, three pronunciation lessons, and the opportunity to practice with a friend or group of friends. As Mandarin is a tonal language, learners are encouraged to say the words out loud in order to truly master the language.
