This course will help participants acquire knowledge and skills related to cognitive psychology and its influence on employee and customer behaviour. Participants will explore the role of the subconscious and emotions in decision-making, as well as strategies for capturing the attention of customers. They will learn to identify a prime and distinguish it from an influence that people are consciously aware of, and use a wide range of primes using the SALIENT checklist. Additionally, participants will assess what affects behaviour change and debate the relationship between rational behaviour and emotions.
