This course, Paper Collage Murals: Create Nature-Inspired Wall Art, will provide students with the skills to create lush representations of nature through paper cutting to create lively mural artwork. The course will cover the following topics: introduction, gathering and preparing images, creating the mural, maintenance, repair, and documentation, and a final project. Students will learn paper-collage techniques to transform any space into a secret garden, and use nature as inspiration for immersive collages. The course will be taught by collage and installation artist Clare Celeste Börsche, who has been featured in galleries around the world and in publications such as O, The Oprah Magazine, and The Guardian. By the end of the course, students will have the skills to create harmonious compositions inspired by the natural world around them.
