This course is designed to help computer forensic analysts understand the process of collecting and interpreting data to make the connection between USB devices and Windows systems. Through the use of freely available tools, participants will learn how to identify USB devices that have been attached to a system, determine the times they were attached, identify the volume names, assigned drive letters, and which user mounted the USB volumes. In approximately one hour, participants will gain the skills necessary to successfully resolve attached USBs.
