The first module covers the fundamentals of VLSI Design, including an introduction to the VLSI Design Flow, a review of PMOS and NMOS transistors, and more. The second module covers inverter design, including CMOS, ratioed, and resistive load inverters, as well as their working, VTC, power, and delay. The third module covers logic design, including complementary CMOS, pass transistors, and transmission gates. The fourth module covers dynamic circuits design, including precharge, evaluation phases, characteristics, and dynamic power consumption. The fifth module covers ALU subsystem design, including adders, shifters, multipliers, latches, flipflops, and multiplexers. The sixth module covers memory design, including fundamentals, ROM cell, RAM cell, SRAM, and DRAM. The seventh module covers layout design, including CMOS layouts and Mead-Conway rules.
