This course, Divorce & Healing in the Church: Past and Present, provides an in-depth exploration of the Orthodox Christian perspective on divorce. It covers the scriptural passages on divorce, the Orthodox understanding of the ”sacramentality” of marriage, Church canons and civil law on divorce, and how to move forward after divorce. It also offers pastoral insights on self-help and ministry to divorcees, as well as challenges and pitfalls of ministry to divorcees.
