This course is designed to help medical students and practitioners gain the basic skill of reading a Chest X-Ray (CXR). Starting from the very beginning, the course will cover the four basic pillars of image quality using the mnemonic "RIPE", followed by a quick anatomical review of the structures seen on a CXR. The course will then move on to assessing CXR in detail, using the mnemonic "ABCDEF": A for Airways, B for Bones, C for Cardiac Silhouette, D for Diaphragm, E for Effusions, and F for Lung Fields. After each lecture, a quiz will be provided to help track progress. In just two hours, participants will gain a skill that will be invaluable in their medical practice.
