This online course, Interpreting for Refugees, provides an overview of the specific role of the humanitarian interpreter. It covers topics such as refugees’ circumstances and host countries’ settings, interpreting in cross-cultural and challenging situations, clues and practical tips in interpreting, self-care and interpreters’ wellbeing, and ethics and duty of care in challenging contexts.
