This course introduces the fundamentals of game theory, a mathematical model of conflict and cooperation between rational decision makers. Topics covered include combinatorial games, zero-sum games, non-zero sum games and cooperative games. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to model and analyse conflicting situations using game theory. This course is intended for students from a variety of disciplines, including mathematics, computer science, economics, electrical engineering, and management. Prerequisites include calculus, linear algebra, and probability.
