This course provides an overview of geology and soil mechanics. It is intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students of BTech/BE. Pre-requisites for this course include Mechanics of Solids/Strength of Materials. This course is beneficial for civil construction companies, Public Works Department, Public Health Engineering, and Irrigation departments. The course prepares students to effectively learn basic soil mechanics.

After completing this course, students should be able to apply their knowledge of soil mechanics to civil construction projects.
