This course provides an overview of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). It is designed to help students understand the overall concepts of GCP and its various offerings. Students will learn about the fastest growing public cloud platform services in the world, as well as the updates to BigData and Machine Learning offerings from GCP. Google is developer-friendly and has provided code examples to GitHub link -> github/GoogleCloudPlatform/. Google also provides $300 credit to try/learn GCP platform, in addition to the free tier. Last year, Google recorded an 84% growth rate and is investing heavily in extending GCP services across the globe. GCP is already prominent in Data Analytics and Machine Learning offerings, and has added Storage, Compute platform, Database, Security, and many more public cloud services for enterprises around the world. Google has private fiber optic cables around the world and has built innovative data centers to scale enterprise infrastructure and platform services requirements.
