This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to understand the history, influences, and contributions of traditional medicine, specifically focusing on the use of plants in traditional healing. Students will learn about the healing properties of plants commonly found in the Southwestern United States and Mexico, and how to apply basic principles of traditional medicine to approach health and illnesses.
