What does this course tell?
(Please note that the following overview content is from the original platform)
Hello, I’m Mark and welcome to my course on how to give your bathroom a makeover.
This course will be full of hints and tips to show you how you can give your bathroom the feel of a designer show home. I’ll go through some different styles of bathroom and give you some creative ideas and inspiration on how to spruce it up and turn it into a space you are proud to show off.
I truly believe that every space in the home can be made to look beautiful no matter what your taste or budget. I don’t think everybody’s house should look the same, and with so many different design styles out there, it would be a shame if they did.
The good thing about this course is that I’m not a professional designer. Over the years, I have renovated and decorated many homes, mostly on a tight budget. So, all my hints and tips come from a place of experience in the real-world and not from a design book. When decorating my homes I didn’t have a bottomless pit of money and I couldn’t afford to buy expensive works of art or lavishly opulent focal pieces, however, I did manage to achieve a look that seemed more high end but without spending a fortune.
I’ll show you ways to take inspiration from design magazines, bathrooms you’ve seen on TV and even bathrooms in homes you’ve visited, and achieve similar results in your own home. Things like colour choices, accessories, lighting, furniture, art and even plants should all work together to make a room feel like it has been professionally designed.
