In this course, Final Thoughts, students will join photographer Minh T to learn how to shoot and edit unforgettable outdoor scenes. Drawing on his background in architecture and design, Minh will share simple steps to elevate everyday locations by focusing on shapes, lines, and patterns. This course is designed for anyone with curiosity and a camera, and each hands-on lesson builds on the last to help students develop the mindset and eye of a photographer. From the city to the beach, students will learn how to find a fresh perspective on even the most familiar landscapes, capture sculptural scenes, evoke emotion, and tell a story with the way they select, edit, and share their images.
Minh’s class is welcoming to students of all levels, though is particularly focused on beginner photographers shooting with a DSLR. Some basic familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is recommended, but not required. By the end of the course, students will have unlocked their confidence, honed their eye, and discovered a new creative outlet—right outside their door!
