This course, Emergency Lighting Design Techniques, is designed for lighting designers and other professionals who want to learn the basics of Emergency Lighting Design. Through this course, participants will learn the theory behind the need for emergency lighting and its lighting standard requirements from CIBSE and other local legislations. The course will also cover the design approaches, emergency lighting equipment, scheme planning, emergency lighting for escape routes, safety signs and points of emphasis, positioning of calculation surfaces into staircases, emergency lighting for anti-panic areas, results and documentation of emergency lighting, showing actual projects, and considerations in designing emergency lighting. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with Dialux evo and AutoCAD software. This is an online course for emergency lighting calculation according to EN 1838 with more than 2 hours of video training and downloadable training materials. Lifetime access is included, allowing participants to come back and watch the videos as needed.
