Introduction to Programming with MATLAB is a course designed to teach computer programming to those with little to no previous experience. MATLAB is used as the programming system and language due to its ease of use, versatility, and usefulness for engineers and other professionals. Through this course, students will become familiar with general concepts in computer science, gain an understanding of the general concepts of programming, and obtain a solid foundation in the use of MATLAB. A MATLAB Online license will be provided free of charge for the duration of the course, and students are encouraged to consult the eBook that this course is based on.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to apply the concepts and skills learned to solve problems in their respective fields. They should be able to use MATLAB to write programs that can manipulate numbers, create graphical displays, and solve problems.
