This Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is designed to educate patients, allied healthcare providers, vocal trainers/coaches, general medical practitioners, and otolaryngologists on the current concepts of vocal production physiology and management options for voice disorders. Participants will gain an understanding of efficient voice production methods and how vocal inefficiencies can lead to the development of voice disorders. Additionally, they will be exposed to behavioral, medical, and surgical management options and indications. The course is divided into five modules, each of which is followed by multiple choice questions. Upon completion of the course, physicians may be eligible to receive CME credits and other allied health professions may receive a Verification of Attendance certificate.
