In this course, participants will learn how to recreate J. Kenji Lopez-Alt's Okonomiyaki from Taste Reverse Engineering Bon Appétit. Resident Bon Appétit supertaster Chris Morocco will guide participants through the process of identifying the ingredients of the dish with a blindfold over his eyes, letting each of his other senses guide the way. Participants will also learn about the books written by J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, The Food Lab and The WOK, and how to upgrade their cooking skills with them. The course will be directed by Cory Cavin, with Kevin Dynia as the Director of Photography, Jared Hutchinson as the Editor, and Chris Morocco as the Host. Kelly Janke will be the Director of Culinary Production, Tyre Nobles as the Producer, Kat Boytsova as the Culinary Producer, Jen McGinity as the Line Producer, Oadhan Lynch as the Associate Producer, Janine Dispensa as the Production Manager, Elizabeth Hymes as the Production Coordinator, Jeremy Harris as the Camera Operator, Brett van Deusen as the Sound Mixer, Alex Mitchell as the Production Assistant, Ross Pineda as the Culinary Assistant, Ryan Harrington as the Staff Editorial Consultant, Vivian Jao as the Culinary Researcher, Andrea Farr as the Post Production Supervisor, Scout Alter as the Post Production Coordinator, and Eduardo Araujo and Andy Morell as the Supervising and Assistant Editors, respectively.
