This course, Supply Chain Analytics, provides an overview of the importance of Business Analytics and Optimization in the present time of intense global competition. Students will learn the basics of Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics in a Supply Chain, as well as the basics of Modeling through R Language. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand the level of uncertainty associated with the supply of products and services to targeted customer segments and justify the choice of a supply chain strategy and its fit with competitive strategy.

This course is an elective for PG students and working professionals. Basic knowledge of Operations management is desirable. Supply Chain Analytics is a growing field, and some of the companies already in the business of Supply Chain Analytics and may recognize the online course include IBM, Mu-Sigma, Genpact, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, and Deloitte.
