This course provides new learners with the opportunity to create games in Unity using Bolt Visual Scripting, a free no-code extension for Unity. Learners will gain an understanding of the basics of Bolt Visual Scripting, and how to create and play gameplay mechanics such as movement, animations, sounds, scene transitions, shooting, and more. Upon completion of the course, learners will have the skills to create simple games independently and have two complete games they can continue to develop and share with others. Additionally, learners will learn how to create simple 2D characters using UPA Toolkit: Pixel art editor. The two games learners will create are a ball trying to reach the top while avoiding obstacles, and a game where the player must prevent enemies from touching the ground by shooting at them.
