This course provides an introduction to 3D models for virtual reality. Students will learn about 3D graphics, integrated development environments (IDEs), and why to use A-Frame. They will also explore Open VR with Lance Putman, Unreal Engine, and Unity. Topics covered include 3D space, the Unity user interface, navigating in Unity, objects and meshes, creating objects in Unity, primitives, creating 3D assets, the asset store, and importing assets from Unity and other places.

[Applications]
After this course, participants should be able to apply their knowledge of 3D models for virtual reality in a variety of ways. They can create 3D models for use in virtual reality applications, use integrated development environments to create virtual reality experiences, and use the Unity user interface to navigate in 3D space. Additionally, they can create 3D assets, import assets from Unity and other places, and use the Asset Store to find 3D models for their projects.
