Students will gain hands-on experience on how to use Amazon Polly to generate voice-over for audio books, weekly podcasts, radio commercials, metro train announcements, general horoscopes, top 5 news of the hour, lost kid announcements, tongue twisters in Hindi & English, audio quizzes, global tech conferences, and airport announcements. The course also covers how to use automatic voices in male, female, and kids categories to generate an audio, how to add real-life effects like pause, break, breath, emphasis, and whispering to an audio, how to customize the synthetization of specific words in the audio output using the Lexicon feature, how to use in-built newscaster and conversational speaking styles while generating the audio output, how to translate text from one language to another and do the synthetization of translated text, and how to install, configure, and test the AWS plugin for WordPress to automatically translate and give voice to text on a live blog post.
Students will also learn how to secure the root account by using multi-factor authentication (MFA), follow the principle of least privileges to give only the required access rights to a user, use all the best practices along the way, apply the AWS managed policies to a group of users collectively, and utilize AWS in-built services for logging (CloudTrail), monitoring (CloudWatchEvents) & alerting (SNS) our Amazon Polly events.
