Created by the Mississippi Legislature this program is designed to provide financial aid assistance to Mississippi residents attending state approved public and nonprofit two-year and four-year eligible colleges and universities.

The CBYX Scholarship is administered in select states by YFU USA and is for motivated high school students who want to live with a host family and attend school for an academic year in Germany. No previous German language experience is required.

The Horatio Alger Association, through the generosity of its members, provides aid to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity and demonstrate critical financial need.

The Higher Education Legislative Plan for Needy Students Grant is available to Mississippi resident students with a 20 ACT or higher, 2.5 high school GPA or higher, and completion of the HELP Core Curriculum, who can demonstrate financial need. The HELP Grant pays full tuition at public Mississippi colleges and universities (or the equivalent at a private Mississippi college or university).
